Who We Are
The principals of ViaWest Properties, Gary Linhart and Steven Schwarz, established the firm in Phoenix, Arizona in 2003 with the goal of creating a full-service real estate operating company to pursue our mission. ViaWest has a highly qualified team that professionally manages properties and developments for our investors, partners, and clients. The skill-set of the ViaWest team ranges from land development and entitlement, to commercial building development, property renovation, acquisitions, dispositions, deal structuring, property management, accounting, and investor reporting.
ViaWest is continuously pursuing acquisition and development opportunities within the Metropolitan Phoenix market and throughout the Southwestern United States.
Strategy
ViaWest believes that strong local-market knowledge and relationships are critical to success in the real estate industry, particularly on the development side. However, increasingly, local real estate markets are driven by regional, national, and global economic forces. ViaWest takes a nimble and evolving approach to pursuing opportunities across a broad range of property types throughout the Southwestern United States within the context of local market and macro economic fundamentals.
Values
Communication: We believe that a high percentage of the problems in business occur because of poor communication resulting from ambiguity, errors of omission and commission, and using emails instead of direct human interaction, to name a few. We painstakingly strive to maximize the effectiveness of our communication through anticipation, openness, timely reporting, and the inclusion all of the stakeholders involved in issues, and by using the form of communication best suited to the situation.
